1. First, you need to have a CVS Extracare Card.  You can enroll for the card right at CVS.
2. Every week there are deals at CVS that generate ECB's.
3.  Initially you will need to pay outright for items that generate these ECB's.  Then the next week you will be able to use those ECB's towards more items that generate ECB's.  This is the key!!

4.  Combine ECB's with coupons (either from the internet, or Sunday's paper)-***This is the biggie if your going to actually make money-you need to start clipping coupons from the Sunday paper, also look for extra coupon inserts, possibly in neighbors recycle bins, or family member who don't use the coupons.  Sometimes when you combine ECB's with manufacturers coupons, you can actually get paid from CVS to walk out of the store with the product!  You actually don't pay a penny for the item!

**Each week I will give everyone a run down of what transactions I did at CVS.  I will break it down so you will be able to see exactly what the prices were, along with what I actually paid, along with any overage ( actually CVS paying me for walking out of the store with the item).

After learning how to do this, you will be amazed at how you could actually not have realized that you can do this!  It is absolutely awesome, and might I ad, completely legal!

Any more questions feel free to post a comment, I will do my best to get back asap!  It is difficult with 6 kiddos, but I do my best.

**Also, I will be interested in what deals anyone else got, deals I might have missed.  Together we can create a resource for a lot of moms!

I have a ?. When you buy more than one item that has a mail in rebate attached to it, do you have to check them out separatly? I know for rebates you have to send the original receipt along with the rebate slip. Do companies take a copy of the receipt now days. I know they did not at one time, it had to be the original. How do you work that out. .......Kitty

So far I have not had multiple items on one receipt with rebate items, so I have never had to think about it. I do know that usually on the rebate slip it will tell you if they require original receipt or not. I would think that if you did have multiple items you needed to purchase for rebate, I would split it up somehow so you can still get a good deal. I am sure if you play around with it, you will come up with a plan. Is this for CVS?
