What a Day!!!

My husband took the day off from work today so he could help me with the kids while we took Jake to see a Pediatric Urologist in Rochester.  Jake's circumsition after birth was never done correctly, it was only 1/2 done!  Joy!  Rochester is about 3 hours away from our home, so that was a lot of driving today!  We got to the Dr.'s early so we had about 1 hour of waiting in the waiting room, plus probably about 1/2 an hour waiting in the room!  To top it off the Dr. said we should not worry about it, Jake will be just fine. No need for surgery to correct it.  It might correct itself!  We will see!  The Dr. said if we have any concerns later we can get a hold of him.  

We stopped at the Syracuse Mall to use 2 coupons I had for 10.00 off a 10.00 purchase.  We purchased 2 pairs of snow gloves and a pair of jeans.  Out of pocket we spent 7.00.  Still not bad, but honestly I did not want to spend anything! 

The only school work we did today was English in the van!  I think I am going to read some Science to them before bed.  We typically like to take Fridays off, but since we did not do much today, we will have to make up for it Friday! 

How is everyone's Christmas shopping going?  Does anyone like to make home-made gifts?  If so, what do you like to make?
