How I plan on cleaning my toilet from now onA few nights ago our little Jacob decided to sneak into our bathroom when no one was watching and got a hold of our toilet brush! That yucky old toilet brush has remnants of Clorox on it because that is what I use to clean our toilet. CLOROX! The worst cleaner to get your hands on. So I decided to figure out a cheap alternative to clean my toilet. Here is my plan: Toilet Bowl Cleaner- *Baking soda & *Liquid castile soap Sprinkle baking soda inside the bowl as you would any scouring powder. Add a couple drops of soap in also. Scrub with a toilet bowl brush and finish outside surfaces with a damp cloth or paper towel sprinkled with baking soda. Homemade Furniture PolishI ran out of my homemade furniture polish tonight, so I thought I would share our recipe. This works great! Homemade Furniture Polish 1 cup olive oil 1/2 cup lemon juice Mix together in a clean new spray bottle. To use, remember to shake before each application. Apply a small portion to your cleaning cloth. Spread the polish over the furniture, trying to polish evenly. Use another clean cloth to polish the surface dry. |
