I am just about finished purchasing all the necessary curriculum to start the new school year.  Here is what we are going to use for Alexis ( I will post the other kids later today and tomorrow, or else I would be sitting here all day!) :)

Alexis- Grade 9   (YIKES!!) :

Bible: Children's Ministry International (I know it is up to 6th grade, but it is a curriculum that all the kids can do!)

Science-Apologia Biology

Math-Saxon Math Algebra 1, and Key to Algebra

History: undetermined (any recommendations?) We were thinking about using Heroes of History.

English: At this point I want her to finish the green book for LLATL.

Foreign Language: Latin-Song School Latin.  (This is being used for all the kids)

Music: Piano

Art: Feed my Sheep

Writing: Undetermined.  Possibly Writing Strands.  She loves to write stories.

***Any recommendations?  Am I missing something? ***

I don't know if you are "missing" anything..........
But
You can check out your states educational guidelines, and that will give you an idea of the courses provided by the local public school.

You can go to collegeboard.com and get materials on the PSAT / SAT / ACT tests if she may be college bound. She can do practice tests at home to get ready for the 'real' test.

Hi! I teach at a homeschool co-op and I know of one family using Drive Through History America (http://www.americanjourneys.org/index.asp).
I'm not sure of the grade level.
Another on-line curriculum is American Journeys (http://www.americanjourneys.org/index.asp)
I've only taken a cursory look at both of these, but you might want to visit the websites to see what you think.
With my third (soon to be fourth) grader we are using Story of the World. I've learned just as much about ancient history as he has!
Good luck and Blessings!
Connie
