Strawberries!!!!

We went strawberry picking this afternoon.  It was a perfect day to do so because it is a comfortable 79 degrees!  I found a recipe from Crystal, at The Family Homestead for

Strawberry Smoothies:
2 cups milk
1 cup frozen strawberries
sweetener, to taste

Mix all in a blender until thick and smooth.

We absolutely LOVE strawberries.  We will probably take another trip to pick more later on this week.  Strawberry Shortcake sounds good too, YUMMY!!

Those look like nice berries..I also went picking this early morning.. I posted a strawberry whip that might go well with your short cake..
I've never had Smoothies? Do u have to have a special machine to make one of those? They do sound good..
