When we moved to the house we live in, we bought a dining room set second hand.  It was solid and sturdy, and plenty big enough for us and company, but it was in serious need of refinishing.  With autumn weather, it was finally cool enough to spend a couple days outside working on it.

JR wanted to use the sander too.....he must get that love of tools from his mama ;-)

Here it is, almost completely sanded

And finished.....

your table is beautiful! you did a really great job. i like to refinish furniture too. it's so much fun to get something used and make it look better than new!
