Immunizations: Informed Consent?

Assembly Bill 10942, introduced at the request of Richard Daines, the Commissioner of the New York State Department of Health, calls for changes to the law in order to make recommended inoculation compulsory in order for children to attend school.

The bill would also permit the administration of vaccines for sexually transmitted infections to minors without parental consent.

Starting with our third child I dont vaccinate them until they are around 4. The reason........ vaccinations in babies are just too dangerous. My sis who is a speech pathologist and deals alot with autistic children ...... they all seem to have the same story ......my child was fine until about 24 - 48 hours after he had such and such vaccine. Plus so many other things that happen because of vaccines. Why? Ive researched this alot. I wasnt happy with the results. Vaccines have so much metals, aluminum being the #1. They actually have more metals in them than is lawfully allowed in so many of our product. And have you noticed how many vaccines a baby has at one time? This just elevates the dangers. There is so much more dangerous information I have found about vaccines in young children that the benefits did not out weigh. So does this mean Im against vaccines all together? NO ! But I use an alternate vaccine schedule and dont start vaccinating til age 4.

I think mandating any vaccines is going to be a bad thing. More and more of our parental rights our being stripped from us. Just more reason to pray daily for protection against these things.

Had I REALLY paid attention in my early 20's, I would have never had my dd vaccinated, at all, for anything.

I agree Jill....had I known then what I know NOW, I would have never, ever had my children vaccinated either. This is what I mean about the informed consent. You walk into the doctor's office, they say "these shots" are due, they stick your child and tell you to wait in the waiting room for 10-30 minutes to make sure there are no adverse reactions.

How is that informing us?

I just thank God that my children were not harmed, but I do know people whose children have, and I certainly know that there will be no more vaccines in my family....at least for my children and myself. My hubby is "owned" by the army, and has no choice.
