Oven Baked Chicken
HOME EC: Oven Baked Chicken
Today the girls made Oven Baked Chicken for Home Ec class.
The Recipe:
1 chicken, cut up
3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp sage
1/4 tsp onion powder
2 T melted butter
cooking oil spray
- Line baking pan with foil, spray foil with cooking spray.
- Rinse the chicken and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, sage and onion powder.
- Dredge chicken in mixture and place in baking pan.
- bake 20 minutes.
- Brush chicken with melted butter, then bake 15 more minutes or until chicken tests done with a meat thermometer.
