Classroom Make-over

A few weeks ago, we wrapped up our school year and began "summer break." We moved here a couple months ago, and the classroom wasn't really set up "cozy and inviting" but rather utilitarian. Bookshelves, computer, table, etc. It was painted with cheap, flat white paint, that marked every time you bumped it...yuck!
I was looking forward to taking the time to really work on this room once school was out for a bit.

You can't see a whole lot, but you can get the idea. Here they were on their last day of testing.....Hickory in his usual spot. He doesn't quite fit in there like he used to....

So....I rearranged, and painted, and organized. It looks so much better! I still have to get some different blinds, dark green blinds in a lavender room (though they do help keep out the hot sunlight)...... but it is a great improvement. We have much more room this way, and I even have my desk in there (not shown).
