I got to go the REAL yarn shop today. Without anyone with me. Baby was napping, three of the girls were at the park with Grandpa and the oldest wanted to stay with my sister and baby. So I got to go and just enjoy being there. Soak in all the snell of yarn and colors and kinds. They had yarn I'd never heard of before. I will go and get my sock yarns from her I think from now on. And the cotton for dish cloths. She had more colors of that than I had ideas for *lol* I had fun :-) I picked out 2 colors of alpaca yarn to try something with. And I got my sewing machine back. Whew! I've been like a fish out of water without it the last 2 weeks.

I am trying to learn to sew but I am not very good at it yet. I did make my 7 yr. old dd a dress. I had to take out the stitches at least 5 times cuz I kept sewing the dress shut and couldn't figure out why she couldn't get it on!! hehehe!! LOL! But at least I am beginning right!?
