Happenings from the Bush homestead

Monday 19th

Hoeing the garden is torture.  Especially when you have not weeded it in a week due to the rains.  My weeds were very tall.  I hand weeded to begin with.  Then my Father-In-Law took pitty on me and welded the blade back on the handle of my hoe.  I busted it straight off a couple of weeks ago.  I got about 1/2 of the garden done.  Not too bad considering the large size of the garden.

I guess I'll finish the post tomorrow.  I'm tired and baby is asleep. 

Yep, that's was my weekend chore!

I also did the hoeing and hand weeding this weekend, still have a couple of rows left to do ~ sigh ~ with all the rains, the weeds grow so much faster than the seedlings <whew> Good thing I like to weed!
