As you can tell I am not very good at adding entries. I do have some drafts, but I want to put more thought into them before I add them. I was just thinking of

Philippians 4:12-13

I know what is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.

I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation,

wheather well fed or hungry, weather living in plenty or want. I can do everything

through Him who gives me strength.

Those words are so wonderful! To know that in every situation you can be content. For look what God himself endured for me! What is it that we "need" do we need three meals a day, or warm covers at night. The answer is no in truth all we need is Jesus. The free gift of salvation is what we need.

Matthew 7:7

 " Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

One of my favorite parables is the parable of the wedding banqute (matthew 22:1-14) To know that God chooses the "guests" brings great joy into my heart.

How wonderful is my creater, let my lips fill the sky with his holy name.
