We tell them stories from the Bible, and play games with them. There is always an adventure there! It is so nice to see the children who really do want to be there, but I don't think many of them like coming. I get to lead the first graders, which is fun, but very challenging. All the first graders seem to come charging in ready to tell me the verse from last week to get candy. As egger as they are you would think they knew their verse, but they instead ask me to tell it to them trying to figure out how they can memorize it before it is time to sing songs. I use to work as a an asstaint Librarian at a grade school and was incharge of reading to the first graders while they were wild and had nine hundred questions to ask, it took us an hour to get through one chapter of "Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang". Not to mention a week I spent at a camp as a throw around (that is a person that does more than one thing at a time all the time, rethinking it I should have been a cabin leader.) <br> <br> And sometimes it is hard because no child likes to take orders from a teenager.
