We spent the last 4 days at our church retreat.  It was a blessing.  I may share about that when I have more time.  On the way home yesterday, though, we had a few friends follow us to our new land.  As we were tromping around showing off Our Little Slice of Heaven, we made a discovery.

I have a few different types of berries growing out there!  We have red currants, rose hips, and most impressively, raspberries!!  I don't have a clue what to do with the first two, but I have a friend who does.  I'm going to offer them to her this year, and she can teach me.  Raspberries, however, I can handle.  I don't have very many and they weren't quite ripe, but I managed to pick a handful.  We munched raspberries all the way home.  Nothing better than fresh raspberries picked on my own land.  :)

What a delightful thing to find that the land the Lord has gifted to you is already fruitful is some way. :) I am happy for you and join you in thanking the Lord for the raspberries. :)
