Modesty.. Is It A Dying Breed????

What is Modesty and why is it so important for the Christian woman to understand, dress & behave modestly?   Modesty is the voluntary personal responsibility to behave & dress in such a manner as to not purposely draw attention to oneself, to not think proudly of oneself and it's a decision to protect from purposeful or "unintended" enticement in inappropriate ways & places.  This is crucial for a Christian woman; first and foremost because we're representatives of the LORD Jesus Christ and secondly, if we're married, we're a reflection of our husband.

It's critical to pay attention to the message and the signal our clothing is sending and to make sure, very sure, that the message is in line with the Word of God.    If style & type of clothing is something you're wrestling over in your mind, or if you're feeling convicted about dress, and what in this world should a Christian woman be wearing, then pray, discuss these things with your husband.  Many will have ideas and convictions about what *you* should wear, but what matters most is what the LORD is directing and what your husband prefers.

Pray together & examine
what you're wearing each day and why!

Why should girls and women wear dresses?  God distinguished male and female... Men and women are
masculine and feminine by divine design.  Let's agree with that design and dress appropriately.
The above photos are not meant as a directive in the *kind* of dress to wear... but to simply and boldly
distinguish and demonstrate the extremely obvious difference between masculine and feminine.
Male and female.  Men and Women.  Male and Female created He them...

More About Homeschooling In California... Sign The Petition! It's Important!

On February 28th, the court document  In Re Rachel L.  was published. The actual court document is available to read online.

The law in California has not changed. This is the opinion of one court. CHN believes this opinion is incorrect, and homeschooling by using one of the alternatives to public school currently available under California law remains legal. The implications of this ruling and possible actions are being discussed by CHN, along with HSC, CHEA, Family Protection Ministry and HSLDA. A joint statement from these organizations and HSLDA is now available online.

Here's the petition to protect our rights as parents to homeschool our children.. please!!! sign if you want to maintain and protect that right!!

THANK GOD!!! OUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!!

3/26/08
Praise God, Kacie has been found! We don't have all the specifics yet other than the fact that the FBI was using all of their resources and they found Kacie at approximately 1:30am. this morning. She was found in the Bay area and is on her way home as I am typing these words. Per the officer that has her she is not physically hurt and appears to be in good shape. Thank you Lord! Thank you Lord.

And thank you to all of you for your continued prayers and support. We know that it is because of you and God that she is on her way home. I will let everyone know more when we know more.

Many thanks!

Scott and Vicki Zito and family

California's Water Found To Be Poisoned!!!!!!!!!

Inspectors of Water Treatment Plants - It was recently revealed in a five month investigation that there are drugs in the drinking water of over 41 million Americans in 24 metropolitan areas from Southern California to Northern New Jersey.  While the concentrations are extremely small, the drugs that were found were antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers, sex hormones, acetaminophen and ibuprofen.  The contamination is so widespread and so few cities test for drugs in their water supply, that it is unknown how many more cities are affected.  This cannot be good for people to continually ingest medication that they do not need no matter how small of an amount it is!
