Little French Homestead

Hello everybody,

I'm a bit shy ,this is my firt step in blogging and english is not my first language!!

I'm very used to read blogs in English, I do it daily, but it's very different to write one by myself...

Anyway, I have decided to do it , now I have to...

First thing, who am I?

My name is Muriel,I am 37, I am a wife to my beloved for 16 years, we have 3 children, so far.

A10yo daughter, a 8yo son and an almost 5yo daughter.

For the moment I can't afford to be a full time homemaker, I have a part time job.

I work 28 hours a week as an educator for the Juvenile Justice Department.

Even if I would prefer to be a SAHM, I can say that I am blessed with this job, it's very interesting and I feel that I am useful in helping lost young people to come back to the right way .

I like everything about homemaking and home organisation.

I am a schedule person, I have a home management binder and I like to use it daily, when I get use to this blog I will post pictures of it, but I don't know how to do it for the moment.

I also like sewing clothes for me and my daughters, I knit and crochet, sometimes I do cross-stitching, from time to time I do scrapbooking.

In fact I am quite oldfashionned and I enjoy to learn the old skills that our grand mother's used to know.

I also bake my bread and make my own yoghourts.

That's enough for a first post, please leave me a comment and feel free to correct my mistakes !

Hello & welcome!
I love the picture on your blog.
Please don't be shy about posting because of your English; you're doing just fine. At least you know two languages, that's better than me! :)
Look forward to reading more from you.

Great job on the blog. I am just learning blogging, and speak hardly any french, so we can try to communicate. I have a feeling you are MUCH better at it than I am. I speak more spanish than french. I should brush up on my french though.

I really admire you for doing a blog in another language. What an awesome thing to do!
