Today we had planned to spend in town.  I normally clean a house every-other Thursday.  This morning my son was not feeling well so I called and postponed it until next week.  I think it's just a little cold & he'll be fine.  We've been running around all week and it is nice to spend the day at home anyway. 

I made a pot of  "Getwell Chicken Soup" and we all enjoyed a big bowl of that a little while ago & the children watched "The Journey of Natty Gann."

I can tell he is feeling better because they are sitting in the middle of the living room floor counting up their change to go shopping this weekend.

As far as the rest of the day goes, we'll probably stay inside and drink hot apple cidar & relax. 

The animals have already been fed and I did up all the laundry yesterday so I don't have too much to do today.  I mopped the floor around 6:00 am because I couldn't go back to sleep.  I just need to vacuum and then I'll have all of my daily chores done until supper time.

I have a new recipe for some oatmeal bread I think I'll try to make today since I'll have the time.  If it turns out well, I'll post the recipe.
