We've had a busy start to our week.  Monday & Tuesday were spent mostly away from home.  Orthodontist, house cleaning job, errands, etc.  Tuesday we went to see Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D.  I would highly recommend it.  It was Abby's first time to see a 3-D at the theatre & it was alot of fun just seeing her reactions.

Today will be spent here.  I already blanched my squash to freeze & it's drying in the collendar right now.  Then I have to get to all of these tomatoes.  I have about 20 lbs or so to do today & about another 10 lbs turning our on the rail of our porch.  They seem to ripen up fast out there.    It looks a bit neat too.  The whole front porch rail has a line of tomatoes all around.

We got all of our corn pulled up from the garden & the squash will be going this weekend too.  The plants are dying out & we have pleanty so they will be tilled up and purple hull peas planted in their places.

Supper tonight will be crockpot chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans & homemade bread.  Well, I better get the chicken started.

Hey ,I wondered how the movie was . My son really wants to see it . He is at church camp somewhere up your way for this week . We'll have to go see it if it is that good . I might take him for the early showing on Wed. for his 14 th birthday . P.S. did I read you made homemade BREAD !!!!! Does everyone like it ??? It takes alittle time to make ,but worth the wait . I find it doesn't have a long shelf life . I put mine in the frig and heat up for a couple sec. in micr. Bam .like fresh again ,LOL see ya ,Shaune
