You want to see bad?? My office/sewing/school/piles of STUFF room is a complete disaster zone, the pit of poopoo is what I call it. Not sure I can take pics of it though, pretty embarrassing!

I read that there is a growing number of people that support the use of lard because it contains less trans-fats than current cooking oils.
Great Grandma was right all along, no wonder Great Grandpa was smiling.
LARD, the other white meat. (well, sort of, I think)

That is sooo funny b/c I was thinking is that really lard- ok so she uses that instead of crisco right?!? Than I look down and you had commented on it! Do tell if you use it for anything other than frying-- feeling really dumb here. love karen

Good for you! Yes, go for the lard! Forget the Crisco! But oooooh don't use storebought lard if you can help it! Read the label! They actually hydrogenate the stuff (why?? Lard is naturally stable at room temp.) and put nasty preservatives in it! O.k. but it is still better than Crisco.
