Monday, March 24, 2008More diet stuffIn response to Illouria's comment I found this to be helpful: www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/calorie-intake-to-lose-weight.php Also, I try to make sure I get plenty of good fat in my diet and good clean protein (grass fed beef and chicken, cheese, etc) Whenever I use fat in cooking or eating I make sure it's the good stuff. I try to avoid anything with hydrogenated oils and other such nastiness. Anyway, in theory it's a lot easier to lose weight while breastfeeding because making milk burns about 500 calories a day. That's a couple hours I don't have to spend on the treadmill.
