Sunday, February 24, 2008 - Saying Hello...

Posted by bodkin
Lindsey,

I wanted to stop by your blog and say a warm Hello from Honey Hill Farm! The first thing that caught my eye was your weight loss ticker - you are awesome! I need to lose about 10 pounds and I am having a terrible time doing it. I will have to read your blog and get the "facts" about your weight loss. I have always struggled with my weight and I deeply admire those that keep their weight under control!

Have a wonderful day,
Shan

Hello again Lindsey,

Tell your daughter I would love to have her visit me anytime - LOL!

As to the ceiling in my parlour, it does sometimes have an optical illusion effect. All I did was paint the interior space a light blue and then edge the outside in burgandy. I made a template for the corners and just painted them with a brush in burgandy also. The corners have gold stenciling, but it is so hard to capture unless the light is just right.

And you were exactly right about the chick. My thought was "He is Risen"! I thought about putting that on the egg but I have a very hard time with lettering. I do have beautiful crosses that are made out of scrolled iron, they are in one of my other flower beds but I didn't include them in my pictures.

Thank you for your kind comments! And l look forward to hearing about your weight loss.

Warmly,
Shan
