Strawberry Shortcake

Posted in Eating
I am a sucker for pretty food and whenever I make something especially lovely I have to take a picture.  Here's our dessert from date night last Friday night:
"Photobucket
and my first decent batch of bread after getting my Bosch mixer and my new (second) grain mill:
"Photobucket

The strawberry shortcake was "bee-wicious" and DH and I didn't share a bite of it with the kids- that's what date night is all about ;)  Actually we just put them to bed an hour early so they don't know what they're missing.  Usually it's stuff they won't eat anyway.

I like taking photos of good looking food too. Of course, eating it is even better than a picture. :-) Your strawberry shortcake looks delicious and I sure wish I could try some. The bread looks good too. I hope you enjoy your Bosch. I've had mine for over 15 years and it's great.
