Tuesday, December 9, 2008You say it's your birthday?Posted in BeingWell, yes, I do say! It is indeed my birthday, my favorite day of the year I'm not ashamed to admit. I have always loved my birthday and I am not exactly sure why. It comes at a great time of year, when everyone is feeling festive and not yet sick of "holiday" business. So it feels like the whole world is celebrating with me. As far as celebrations, I am not really doing anything today. We were supposed to have a big extended-family dinner on Sunday but with my kids (and myself) all sick this weekend we had to postpone until next Sunday. So my birthday wish is that everyone will be feeling finer than froghair next weekend and we'll be able to go to Red Robin for lunch on Sunday. Yes, I'm fairly easy to please. In honor of my "dia especial" (yes, I've been watching too much Dora) and because this is my 99th(!!) post, I am having a tiny giveaway. I have a set of Christmas tree hairclips, designed and made by yours truly, and your choice of one of my felt Christmas tree ornaments. Here's a photo: and![]() Not a big big deal, but a little something fun for your holiday season. I can't wait to sport my own Christmas tree clippies at lunch on Sunday. I have so much fun making these little hair-do-dads for myself and my loved ones and I want to share the wealth a bit. So, to enter, comment here with an email address or a link to your blog so I can contact you if you're the winner. If you'd like another chance, post about this on your blog and leave a separate comment about that so I can give you an extra number in the virtual hat. I will choose a winner at random on Friday December 12th at 12:08 PM. That's 12-12-08 at 12:08 Eastern time, cause I'm silly like that. And now it has taken me a whole day to get the photos from my camera to photobucket. Sheesh! | 5 comments | Link Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 24 of 117 } { Next Page } |
