A new member of the family

Posted in Being
Don't get too excited- it's not that kind of new family member.  This handsome fellow actually joined us today, without the usual 9 months notice that we like to give folks.  Here he is with most of his new family (you can even see RK's blue-clad elbow next to puppy's leg.

Isn't he sweet?  I just love his darling eyebrows!  His name is Petey and he's a year and a half old.  He's very petite, like a Chihuahua should be, but not quite as fragile-seeming as some I have met.  I hope he gets along with Granny's dogs :D

How adorable!! Oh yeah the pup too! :-D LOL. Those little guys seem to have boundless energy and I'm sure the kids will have a blast with little Petey! He sure is a cute little thing. I can't ever get little dogs...I get these big monsters for some reason.
Good luck with Petey, I hope he's settling in well!

Well....you finally found a REAL dog!!! Oh to love a Chihuahua! It's so easy!!!! I'm sure that !Jose' and Dora will find him very interesting. One of the cool things about owning a Chihuahua is finally learning how to spell Chihuahua:) The best part is that they love you so very unconditionally. Lucky you and better yet...lucky Petey! Welcome to the family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
