Lil' Patch

September, already?

Boy, I just cannot believe it!  Summer is practically gone. It is my least favorite season.  But that means we need to start schooling, bringing out warmer clothes, and getting ready for the Holidays.  Some of you do a whole lot more for preparation.  This year will and is different for me.  I am slowly movig toward a small homestead here.  So next on my list is canning.  Yeah!!  I am excited about this one.  I found a homecanning kit in the Lehman's catalog (I have been wanting that for awhile)  I am collecting reciepes that sound good for that.  All I need now is the kit.

I have been cleaning out each bedroom this summer.(slowly) It has taken awhile, but it seems to be coming along.  I am now in the junk/spare/computer/sewing room.  This will be a chore.  It is not a very big room at all.  So you can imagine the chaos in there.  This will be my task till I cannot buy the canning kit. I really would like to make some dresses for myself and Madie.  She has been complaining that she has no dresses to wear and the ones at the store are too revealing.  I just stood there wilth my mouth wide open and shook my head.  That was coming from a 7 year old.  I am very thrilled with my girl. 

Oh and good news..yesterday she asked for forgiveness of hers sins and asked Jesus to come live in her heart, (as she would put it)  I was so delighted I called everyone I know.  And know I am sharing with you.  Just wonderful!!
