Fun Weekend!

05:55, 2006-Sep-11 .. Posted in Daily Life .. 0 comments .. Link

We ended up at the L.A. County Fair on saturday.  It was a lot of fun.  We went with the Grandparents.  I really enjoy spending time with them.  My dd sure enjoyed her self. When her feet started hurting, grandpa let her ride on the back of his wheelchair.  It was so cute.  She ended up falling asleep on him and almost pushed him off!  She sure loves her papa.

I haven't been to that fair in years and they really improved their animal section.  There were a bunch of pregnant sheep and one was in labor.  Nothing happened.  We were there for a little while.  Then I decided I really didn't spend 12 bucks to watch this.  I have seen it before.  It would have been nice for dd to see, but that is how it goes.

The weather is so beautiful lately, that we have been going crazy. We want to be outside.  Which tomorrow that is what we are going to do.  School outside what a blessing!

I found a place where they needed foster homes for potbelly pigs.  I would love to do it, but hubby thinks I am crazy.  Hey, I might be, but life is never boring here!

I hope you all have a good day!

New template for Fall!

08:09, 2006-Sep-8 .. Posted in Friday .. 0 comments .. Link

I like to change things up a bit.  So I found and template with the colors I wanted.  I really like those blogs that the women did themselves, but I sure do not know how that is done.  So I will not do it.  I am happy with what I have for now.

Today was very uneventful.  We did a little bit of school.  I woke up late because my sleep was disturbed at 3 in the morning.  Thanks to my darling hubby was very loud.  Well I should not complain.  I am not feeling very well at the moment.  I am trying not to think about it.  I just hope it is a passing thing and my body will fight it off.

I am craving the fall weather.  I am wanting to have cool weather, so I can cuddle up with a warm blanket with a good book and hot cider.  I am in need of warmer clothes.  I threw out some clothes in a fit a few months back.  I know I admitted it.  I threw a fit!  I do need clothes that are not so old looking and fit better.  I have learned my lesson.  I have a wicked habit of looking at others and how they dress.  I end up not appreciating the things I have.  I am  the one who made the decision to not keep up with the beautiful in-laws.  I now and then let that invade my thinking and let that thought think that it is a priority in my lifr and it is not!  Now that I have just ranted I will go and make dinner!

You alll have a good night and weekend!
