Ordered the stove

Well we ordered our stove and ovens, they should be ready to pick up in a couple of days.

We're getting an electric cooktop and then a vertical double oven to go alongside. We have an arch shaped enclave in the wall that it will go in. One of the guys in town is going to take the old stove out and remove the old hotwater system out of the roof. While he was up there the other day, he found that the roof had been nailed down instead of using galvanised teck screws. If he hadn't noticed this then in a couple of years the roof would have rusted because of the nails, then the roof would have needed replacing.

George is still doing the reticulation, well fixing up the mess that's been left anyway. We've also got a gardener who is going to come in and help with the property. She knows fruit trees as well which is great.

Hopefully soon we might get those chooks I want. Chookhouse is needed first. Cause there are a few whiteant mounds around, we're going to get it built in mainly steel. We have a heap that was left lying around here so we're going to use that for the base and then wood for the top.

It's been a long time since I've heard (or seen) that word!!! I love it! We lived in Tumut, NSW, from 1972 to 1977 and loved it there ....

I am going to add you to my friends list, if you don't mind .... I love reading about the Australian adventure .. I really miss being there. And imagine having Mandarins!!! I'll eat any that no one else will eat!!
