Lemon Gum Cottages

Our life

I love our life here. We moved to Dwellingup just over a year ago. There were times during the first eight months that I thought we were moving back to the city. The people we were trying to buy off made things so hard for us, simply because they got greedy and wanted more than the property was worth.

The sale went through in October last year and we named the property Lemon Gum Cottages.

There are two cottages on our 14 acres as well as the main house. We've had friends stay in the smaller cottage and we're hoping to rent both out as soon as we can get our act together and fix the larger one up.

We've also got fruit trees, grape vines and are hoping to get chickens and perhaps a couple of miniature cows soon. Pierce wants a miniature pot bellied pig but we'll see about that one...I'm not sure how it would go with our dogs!

Our son Pierce is homeschooled which we love, it gives us so much more time together, especially since we run two businesses from home. I'm also going back into private investigation soon so that will be a third. Combine that with trying to write professionally and it's no wonder I'm tired! But the Lord is good. Amen to that.

Your a busy family. I am very glad that the sale finally went threw and your happy there. It sounds like you have a plan that works for your whole family. I am looking forward to reading more about your adventures.

I am new here too..wanted to say HI and that I think your set up sounds lovely! I think it would be fun to have some cottages :-)
