Life is Good

It's been a long time since I was on here and so much has happened since then.

We have our stove at last! We couldn't get the one we wanted so settled for a large gas all in one stove and oven. Works great and the food that comes out is good too!

The property has been getting fixed up slowly but surely. Our next door neighbour is a horticulturalist and has been weeding, pruning and planting madly for the last few months. Fingers crossed that soon we'll even have a vegie garden! Then comes the chooks....oh how I love the thought of having chickens roaming around here.

Larry has also been a blessing sent from God. A local guy who knows just about everything there is to know about properties, he's done everything from fix our windmill to fencing our property. He and Derek and now friends rather than employees.

They're also good with our five year old son, added bonus!

I want to try my hand at soap making soon and have the supplies almost all ready.

We also have 13 sheep we're agisting for Larry in one of our paddocks. So far none is missing a leg (mmmmmmm roast leg of lamb). Can't you just smell it now?
