Lance's dad, tax audit, show and tell, recital photo day...

I just wanted to give a quick update while I was online this morning.  I only have a few minutes before we need to leave for school, so it will be short.

Lance's dad is doing fairly well.  He seems relaxed and he gets up to sit in a chair by his bed, several times per day.  He speaks only a little, but does seem to know what's going on part of the time.

The tax audit is still in the midst of everything.  We have an appt tomorrow with the HRBlock representative.  I guess she's going to tell us what we need to get.  I can't imagine what else we'll need.  I do want to take pictures of the farm equiptment that we used for depreciation those years, but other than that, I cannot think of another single thing we'd need.

Today is Lilli's snack and sharing day.  Show and tell is a very big deal in Kindergarten.  Last month she took my dad as her sharing object.  It's hard to top that.  LOL.  Today she wants to take her chick she named 'Speedy'.  He's our smallest chick, he's a banty chick and very fast, hence the name Speedy.  She chose him over any other ones, I even offered to bring more than one, but she said no.  She refuses to bring the baby goat as well.  LOL.  Harder for me to bring in, but what child doesn't love baby goats? 

Today after school Lilli has her recital pictures instead of having her actual Acro class.  She has to get all dolled up with her make-up done and hair done just right.  I'll get a picture and post it sometime in the next week or so when I get a few minutes online.

Lauren is doing well but she has separation anxiety pretty bad and she's had to stay with my parents a lot in the last couple weeks. 

She is going there again today as I have some things to do that she wouldn't allow me to get done. 

She'll be going yet again tomorrow as Lance and I have that appt with the tax rep.  I have no idea what the rest of the week will look like.

Tomorrow is Lilli's Kindergarten circus and she's an amazing acrobat.  She's very excited and I'm excited to watch it.  There is a showing at 9:30 and another one at 1PM.  I'll go to the morning one and my parents will go to the afternoon one.  They'll probably sign her out of school after that, as I'm not sure how long we'll be with the tax appt.  They will also have Lauren.

T-ball on Wednesday evening and again on Saturday.

Other than that, we'll be at Lance's dad's house each day for a visit.

I hope everybody is doing well, thank-you for your prayers, it's a very stressful and busy time for us right now.

Glad to hear your dad is doing better...and thanks for sharing about your week...you definately are a busy mom.

I just wanted to stop by and say hey, glad things are getting some what sane for you and that Lances dad is doing better than he had before! Keep up the good faith girl, things will be better.
