Here is this week's survey from The Simple Woman's Daybook...join in the fun at http://thesimplewoman.blogspot.com/ Outside my window - Sunny but clouds moving in, goats relaxing, piglets playing and chickens clucking, cows grazing and dogs barking. I am thinking - Of switching laundry after this post...LOL I am thankful for - My family being healthy right now, our critter count that keeps increasing, the fact that we have very little debt besides our home mortgage. From the kitchen - Beef stroganoff is in the crockpot and strawberries are thawing for strawberry shortcake, I still have to make biscuits. I am creating - a mess that is supposed to be my first knitting swatch. LOL I am going - to finally get caught up on my laundry today. I am reading - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kinsolver and "How to Shovel Manure"...both are great books, but it's taking me a long time to read them... I am hoping - That the weather is nice on Saturday as we attend an animal flea market in northern Indiana with the girls. I am hearing - Barney singing on TV and Lauren's Weeble Wobble toy as she pushes the music button while she plays. Dogs barking outside. Around the house - RC laying here on the floor by my feet, Lauren playing with the Weebles, Sprout on TV, the dryer going, the washer running, the crockpot quietly cooking our supper :) Favorite things - Family time, sitting on a porch swing watching kids play and farm critters do their thing, reading a good book, learning something new (knitting). A few plans for the rest of the week - Today Lilli has gymnastics after school then we meet friends for supper...if the weather is nice we'll go to a park instead. The rest of the week is open except for Saturday. We plan to attend an animal flea market near Ligonier (sp) Indiana. I hope to guy guinea keets and a couple more laying hens. I really just enjoy going and looking around, they always have such great things there. Sunday we plan on watching the plow horses plow the field down the road from us. It's an old-fashioned 'plow horse day'. We try to go each year. It's fun to watch those horses, they are so strong! { Post a Comment } { Last Page } { Page 95 of 305 } { Next Page } |
