4-21 - I'm learning to knit! WOOHOO!

Ok, so I attended a class this evening to learn to knit...I'd say my creation looks more like a mess.  LOL 

I am enjoying it though and I can't wait to get better at it.  I realize my time is limited with little ones at home, but I can fit it in during naps and at night (when I'm not blogging).

I LOVED the class.  I met some very nice ladies and I look forward to going back again.  Two of them live right down the road from me :) 

I was informed about a garden club that sounds very interesting so I'm going to look into that too.  :)

I broke the news to Lilli this morning...about her Stripey hen being a rooster.  LOL.  It was so funny!  She got this funny look on her face like she was disappointed, then she lit right up and said, "MOM!  THIS MEANS WE CAN HATCH OUR EGGS!".  I'm still laughing about it.  Yes, that is what it means.  LOL

My mom and dad took Lilli to her Acro class tonight.  They'd been wanting to do that and they all enjoyed it.  They went out to eat at Waffle House afterwards and Lilli said she ate two chicken legs :)  So I think they enjoyed that too.

Lance cut his chore time short this afternoon so he could come in and watch Lauren while I went to my knitting class.  I think they had a nice time together while I was gone.

All in all, I think it was a good day for everybody :)

Today is my brother Kim's birthday.  He passed away 3 years ago and I miss him :(
