Slight delay on those resolutions due to sickness

Well, I had such high hopes of getting up early today and getting an early start on my resolutions.    DD is sick and coughing quite a lot.  I was up with her most of the night, as no meds I gave her helped at all.

Does anybody have a home remedy for coughing, that really works?

Any other suggestions?

Going to the Dr doesn't seem feasible, as she has had a cough, on and off, for a month now, and she started this last one while already ON antibiotics...so it's probably viral? 

Anyway, because we were up most of the night, we slept in.  Hopefully tomorrow will be better.  I am still shooting for all the other resolutions, but the getting up with DH fell through today (unless you count my getting off the couch and getting into bed when the alarm went off...LOL).

I hope everybody else is having a great start to their New Year and those resolutions!

Coughing

My favorite home remedy for coughing is honey, lemon and a TOUCH of brandy (if desired in hot water as a 'hot toddy' - helps them sleep, too. And a teaspoon of honey/lemon mix swallowed down helps too.

It is never fun when our little ones are sick. I will be praying for you all (for good health and that you'll get rest/sleep too!)
