Happy Feet, change of plans, Monopoly Jr, and fussy baby

Well, DH and DD5 went to see Happy Feet last night.  DH said he wasn't very impressed, but DD said she liked it (I think she'd say she liked even if she didn't, she loves to GO to the movies, doesn't matter much what's actually playing.  LOL).

I didn't have Bunco last night after all...the girl hosting it was pregnant and started spotting, so she postponed Bunco until next week Tuesday.  She found out she did lose the baby, so I was asked not to bring my baby with me next week.  I don't mind, and understand completely.  I may have to get a sub though, we'll see how baby is doing that day...she is very fussy that time of night and I often end up nursing every 2 hours or so.

DD5 received Monopoly Jr (Princess edition) as a Christmas gift and I really like it.  It's very similar to the adult version, but simplified for littles.  DD loved it and she was doing math and reading the cards/board...I was very impressed. 

Baby has been extra fussy today.  She slept 4 1/2 hours last night (9-1), then 3 hours.  I got up at 5:00AM and stared beef stroganoff in the crock pot, and then laid back down until baby woke at 7:30.  She's been waking/eating about every hour and a half to two hours today.  She usually goes 3 hours, so maybe it's a growth spurt.  She isn't taking as long naps either, so she's pretty off routine.  I actually laid her in her crib for two naps today...she usually sleeps in her cradle swing.  She slept about 40 minutes in her crib earlier, and she's napping there now.  I don't hold out much hope for this one, as we are coming up on her fussy time. 

She's been going down for naps easily today.  She usually likes to fuss/cry at each nap and then she goes to sleep...today she's been a little fussy at naptime, and then just drops...it's so sweet.

She is on a new med for her thrush and I hope this one works.  Her little tongue is very white and I know it must bother her.  She is eating better today though, so that's good...she is actually nursing both sides at each feeding now.

DD5 went to spend the night with my parents tonight.  She usually goes on Sunday nights but we got off track because of the holidays.  She'll get back on schedule next week.

DH is working at his aunt's house tonight.  I'm glad I had supper done early so he could eat before he left.  He said he is working late tomorrow and Friday...so I may plan to pick DD up tomorrow and go to Walmart.  Walmart is right down the road from my parent's house, so I leave baby and DD with them and go by myself.  It's nice to get away by myself for a few minutes, even if it is Walmart. 

I need to get pictures developed, so I'm looking forward to that.  I can't wait to see my family pictures from the holidays, I think they turned out good, and I love family pictures.

I'd better run and work on organizing my kitchen cupboard...I plan to do one cupboard a day until I get them all, then I'll move on to organizing the next room...

I heard that Happy Feet wasn't that good either. We used to play a lot of Monopoly Jr. here too. Now the older ones are in to *real* monopoly, but soon enough my little guy will be ready to tackle Monopoly Jr so we'll be getting it off the shelf again.
