Tuesday-I failed the one-hour sugar test :(

Well, I took the one-hour sugar test this morning, and failed it.  I have to take the 3-hour test on Thursday morning at 7AM at the downtown hospital (the closer lab only does the one-hour). 

I was borderline gestational with DD5.  I had to follow the diet and have my sugar tested weekly, but all was well.

Hopefully I'll pass this next one, or follow a similar pattern.

I do not want to take insulin or have to check my sugar daily.  Praying that all will turn out ok...

Our Day...

8ish I got up and got ready and headed for the lab for my sugar test. 

After that I stopped by Save-A-Lot and picked up a few groceries. 

The Goodwill store is right next door, so I stopped there as well.  I did find a maternity top, maternity jammies, and a pair of shorts for DH.  I also bought a Pediatric Medical book (it was 50 cents). 

Then I headed home and paid bills and balanced the checkbook.  Then I found a problem on my checking.  It turned into a bigger problem than I first thought...

A few weeks ago I attended a scrapbook convention.  One of the venders ran my debit card through, and then said it wouldn't work as I couldn't read my 3 digit pin on the back of the card.  So she cancelled it out.  I asked for the receipt as it didn't look right to me.  She assured me it was fine.  I then paid her cash ($22.23).

Well the $22.23 not only came out of my checking, it went through twice.  So instead of cancelling it, she just ran it again.  So I have now paid her 3 times.

The problem is I cannot get in touch with her.  The info on the checking debit is very vague and no contact # on my receipt. 

I called the credit union to see if they could get any more info from them and they could not.  They did say that I can file a 'debit dispute' form (2 in this case) and eventually get my money back that way. 

So I had DH stop on the way home to pick up those forms.  The problem is that they are actual fraud affidavits.  It makes it look like my card was lost or stolen.  It must be the right form though, as it states, "I have not received goods or services for the amount charged on account".  Which I have not, so that much is true. 

I had planned on just sending the forms back with DH (he works near the Credit Union), but they have to notarize it when I sign it. 

What a mess.  I'm really upset with the lady because I didn't want to pay cash and OBVIOUSLY there was not a problem with my card after all.

Ok, so I spent a lot of time dealing with that mess. 

Then I straightened the house a bit (I still have laundry but the kitchen is shaping up nicely).

DH got home and then DD got home.  My mom and SIS brought DD home and SIS got to see the animals.  I don't think she was very impressed.  LOL.  She is so not into animals.

We had spaghetti for supper.  DD is complaining of a sore throat.  I'll see how she is tomorrow, I may be taking her to the Dr.  I worry because her surgery is on Monday...

DD and DH went to bed a bit ago...DD is very clingy and crying a lot, so I know she doesn't feel good.  I'm going to go and get her so we can rock I think.  She just doesn't feel well, poor thing.
