June Headcount on the Homestead...

Well, it's always nice to look back and have an inventory of our critters, so I thought I'd post one now.  I can't be completely accurate on our chicks, but I think I can get close.  LOL

As of today we have:

Steers - 6 (being raise for our own use only)

Heifers - 1 (she's heading for the auction as she's mean to the steers)

Pigs - 15 (one for us, the rest are already sold to others)

Goats - 3 (2 does and 1 buckling)

Laying hens - 11 (unsure of what happened to number 12?) = 6-9 eggs per day

Turkeys - 6 (1 Royal Palm, 1 Bourbon Red, 4 Bronze)

Guineas - 7 (I think)

Meat Chicks - 19 (one died the other night of unknown causes)

Various Chicks - 6? Barred Rocks, 1 banty, 1 unknown and ugly (LOL), 2-4 Auracanas, 2 meat chicks, 1 white rock?, and ??

One mama banty and 4 chicks (5th must be in the same place as the 12th laying hen mentioned above)

2 Great Pyrenese LGD (currently looking to go to a new home as we no longer have a goat herd for them to protect)

1 Jack Russel Terrier - RC

1 Heeler pup - Biscuit

1 Barn Cat - Socks

1 - 20 month old munchkin - Lauren

1 - 7 year old munchkin - Lilli

1 - Farmer - Lance

1 - Farmer's wife - ME :)
