Our trip last night was to Smolan,.KS to eat at the Hickory Tree Restaurant, The little town has nothing really except this restaurant but is worth the drive.
The place to go for a simple BBQ buffet. Ribs, chicken, brisket, pork chops, all types of great salads, rolls and wonderful desserts.
This blog is primary about my activities on my farmette. Currently I am the caretaker of 2 goats, 3 dogs, 2 cats, ducks and chickens.I have a varitey of chickens but my two favorite breeds are Welsummers and Lakenvelders.
