It was near 80* today. Is it really November 18th??? Both hubby and I took the afternoon off and spent it together, riding our bikes. We put on about 70 miles today, part of it near the river and it was soooo gorgeous, I wish I had had my camera. The trees are bare, the grasses yellow with a small stream winding through near the road, reflecting the flawless blue sky....

Time to go and make some supper.... I have thawed chicken legs in the fridge - perhaps I'll just fry them, and make some quick macaroni salad. Sounds good from where I'm sitting anyway, lol

Sounds like you had a great day! At first I saw you took your bikes and put 70 miles on them, I was amazed that someone could put that many miles on a bicycle LOL!

Lol, it WOULD be amazing if someone put that many miles on a bicycle in an afternoon ;) hee hee!
These miles were put on a pair of harley's instead of Schwinns, lol

I am at my daugther's cabin, checking my blog and I happened to see your name "PrairieLady". Since I blog as Prairiemom, I thought it would be fun to check out your blog and find out where your prairie is.
My name is Denise and we live an hour east of the Rockies in northcentral Montana in a small town named Conrad.
I grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico and I have seen parts of Colorado. What a beautiful state, much like Montana, only certainly more populated.
It is great to have you here at Homesteadblogger. I hope we will be able to get better acquainted. We no longer have the internet at home, so I only blog about once a week, but I sure enjoy any blogging time I can get.
