What to do with left over pecans and pumpkin pie spice ~ yum !

Posted in The Kitchen ~ The Heart of our Home

Well, I found my new favorite way to eat popcorn.

Pumpkin Pie Popcorn with Raisins

1 bag of microwave popcorn (or the equiv if you make it yourself)

1/4 cup sugar

1T. pumpkin pie spice

a bit of melted butter

1 cup raisins

3/4 cup pecans - coarsely chopped

Prepare the popcorn, empty into a large bowl and remove all unpopped kernels. Stir sugar and pumpkin pie spice  together in a small bowl.  Melt butter and lightly coat popcorn with it.  Add raisins and pecans. Sprinkle with sugar mixture and toss until popcorn is well coated.

Im sorry I didnt take a photo of this one. It was so good once I put it in front of my hubby and daughter it was gone!  This is a really yummy recipe. Give it a try - let me know if you tried it or added anything new.
