Mmmmmmmm....my house smells so good right now. I've got the crock pot going for tomorrows dinner. BBQ beef sandwhiches with coleslaw. The laundry is finishing up, the coffee timer is on for 6:30am and everything is pretty much ready for another wonderful day tomorrow. I've just sat down to get a menu going for the next couple of days and a list going because I some shopping and errands to do before Saturday.  Saturday my in-loves are coming over for dinner, its my father-in-loves 66th birthday so im having him over for his favorite chili and cornbread. My mother-in-love usually makes his favorite cake Banana Nut with Chocolate frosting but they are having their floors re-done so the fridge and her supplies are all over and she wont be making one this year. But...she's asked me to do one. She usually makes it from scratch but she told me just to by the box kind since I wasnt planning on making it.  I think I will try and find a homemade recipe online and try and make it from scratch.  I also found a recipe for homemade salsa I think im going to try for the night. I love having my in-loves over.

On Sunday after church im going to my friends to make placemats. She's expecting in February and has been sewing like crazy so im going to take my sewing machine over and we're going to have a sewing party. Im really looking forward to it.

I've been going to bed super late the past week or so. I really need to get to bed by around 10:30 each night to get sufficient rest for my busy days. As you can see its 10:58pm so im not doing to well tonight LOL.  I logged on so that I can check a few things and update my blog. This is still my first week ever of blogging and I cant tell you how wonderful it has been. I have so enjoyed reading the comments and others blogs and encouragement. It has been such a great stress reliver, this has been a great week for me and i've been a bit more relaxed.  Im greatful that I found this blog and am able to connect with other mothers, women, homemakers, friends etc.

Today im thankful for the hope that lays ahead. For Gods goodness and plans for my future. As He watches over me I know He is planning great things for me. I pray that my life would be a blessings to those around me and thank God that He is ever changing me.

I just wanted to say hello. Thank you for sharing with me. As a mommy of ten chidlren I have been praying for many years now for that one person the Lord has for each of my children. I know the challenges as a parent and have wanted to cover my children's to be spouces parents in prayer. I trust that the Father has had them praying for me too.
