• Friday, November 9, 2007 - Raspberries or Home Improvement?
| I have a decision to make, and is proving to be a rather challenging one. I have some cash from my birthday, coupled with a little other, that makes a nice sum. The problem is, deciding what to do with it. I planted raspberries (along with a lot of other stuff) last fall, and this spring we had enough rain to float the ark. I'm sure most of you heard of the flooding here in Southeast Kansas earlier this year. It flooded our basement to the second to the top stair, and made a pool where my rasperries were. I've picked a new, drier sight, and would love to order more raspberries. But we also need paint to repaint the trim on our house. What to do, what to do. In other news, I am preparing to do something I have ALWAYS wanted to try. I am going to make cheese. I found a place on line that shows step by step how, and I have also ordered a book (I am a visual person). There are some Amish that have moved in not to far from here- about twenty miles. I just have to find a family to sell me some whole milk. I'll let you know how it goes. |
