• Friday, September 14, 2007 - Feels Like Fall
| Yesterday I knew it was supposed to get cool today, and made such plans of the things I would get done today. Well, I didn't even get my household chores done. Yesterday evening I went to visit a neighbor, a nice 75 yo woman who is trimming her trees and mowing her own lawn still! Emily drank all of her cup, so I poured part of my tea in her cup for her. When I came home, I put it on the counter, and when Daddy put her to bed, not knowing what it was, he gave it to her. Oh boy. She slept til 1:00 am,woke-up, and I didn't get her back to sleep until 5:00 am. I wanted to get so much done outside today, but I wouldn't trade those four hours. I sat and watched her play and play, and then we rocked. Funny how even if it isn't exactly what you had planned, God knows exactly what you need. She is sleeping, and I am putting clothes on the line. So I AM enjoying the weather. The mums were on clearance today when I went to WalMart for groceries, and I couldn't resist. Before next spring I will learn how to post pictures, I would love to share my English Garden with all of you! |
