Laughing Thyme Farm: Living the Dream

Bid

We made a bid on the house last night!  We'll know what the sellers think by tomorrow night.  I'd like for this to work out.  

I've been accused of being negative by some of my husband's family by saying that I'm not holding my breath in thinking that we'll get a house in the country.  We've made bids on several houses in the country and nothing has worked out thus far.  It's not that I'm down in the dumps about it, but more that I am trying to keep a level-headed and realistic outlook.  I'd slightly hopeful, but not overly excited. 

If they were to accept our bid that would be a different story, but really I don't think that I would totally have faith in any of it until we sign at the closing!    If they accept our bid, I'll put some pix up.

Welcome to HSB!! Sounds like we have a little in common. I grew up in the country, moved to town, and longed to get back out here. Took along time, but I'm here. Let us know what happens with the bid!
