My Christmas Meme
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Either or, depending on how hard the present is to wrap! I do love the fact that the bags are reusable. The rule is on Christmas morn, "don't throw out the bags".
2. Real tree or artificial? We usually have a real one but I decided last year to go for artificial, as we felt it would be safer for the dogs this year.
3. When do you put up the tree? The tree usually goes up around December 1st.
4. When do you take the tree down? Usually the weekend after Christmas, maybe even the day after. Just depends how I feel.
5. Do you like eggnog? Love it!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? I would have to say that the two that stick out in my mind was an Easy Bake oven when I was 8 and a 10 speed when I was a teen. I road that bike all over town, but shhhh, my mom doesn't know that.
7. Do you have a Nativity scene? Yes, I have a couple of them.
8. Hardest person to buy for? I would have to say my mother in law.
9. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? A manual treadmill from my husband. It went back the next day. LOL
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Always by snail mail. I just love getting cards in the mail box, so I guess I think others do too.
11. Favorite Christmas Movie? It’s a Wonderful Life and The Christmas Story.
12. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually I start in mid October, getting the little kids out of the way first.
13. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes, when I have had something of absolutely no use to me that I know someone else would appreciate! Why waste?
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? For some reason I cook the cornbread dressing only for the holidays, I quess to keep it special. So that is what I love eating the most, that and a good juicy turkey.
15. Clear lights or colored on the tree? We have colored lights this year.
16. Favorite Christmas song? Bells Will Be Ringing, it reminds me of my dad, he loved it.
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Home, with everyone working I can't go anywhere.
18. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeers? Of course!
19. Angel on the tree top or a star? A primitive fabric star with buttons.
20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Half on Christmas Eve with the inlaws and the other half in the morning with the rest of the family.
21. Most annoying thing about this time of year? I would have to say the fact that my family works through the holidays, so we can't really have that family sit down dinner that I would love so much to have.
22. Best thing about this time of year? The Lord Jesus, of course!

A Fun Contest
I have finally taken some pictures of the snowflakes I have been crocheting. I would love to hold a contest to give away a dozen of these assorted snowflakes to one lucky person. I have wanted to do a contest for some time and couldn't think of what to give away. I am so glad to have thought of these. I love to make them and would love to share them.
Each snowflake is hand crocheted with size 10 crochet cotton. They range in size from about 3-5 inches. They can be hung separately or together in a cluster.
To enter this wonderful contest head on over to her blog, Heart of God and leave her a comment. These ornaments are beautiful and would even make a great gift.
Thanks for visiting..........Kitty
