Problems with blogs, pangas and money
Posted on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 11:57 - Post Comment
I haven't posted in awhile because AGAIN ,I was having problems with my blog so I will try again!!! RVA has closed until April 24th so the kids are home. DH and I are still working until next week. I am still teaching and Bruce has a work team here from the US for this week. they are redoing the Moffat admin building. It has been awhile since I updated this blog so I really don't know where to start!!! Last week, Virginia, the lady who works in my home , cut herself with a panga (machete). Last blog i mentioned the dangers of these things and then WHACK!! She goes and cuts her leg, even cutting the bone!!! Bruce went up to Machani to get her and I stayed with her in the emergency room then Bruce brought her back up in the pouring rain!!! needless to say, I am now doing her job and mine!!! I did dishes 4 times yesterday!!! And we produce alot of dishes at each meal!!! I am not rushing her back because she has a walk to work 1 hour each way so we can wait....
i have also had some discouraging things happen these past few weeks but I am learning that my hope is found in Christ not people. I have to constantly fight the bitterness of disappiontments in people you think you love and you think love you but they can't see past their own nose!! They also can't see past today so their decisions are always based on what is good for ME TODAY!!! Example... I was saving money for a man (it was his hard earned money) to be spent at a later time when the other money runs out . Well, he decided he NEEDED another cow ( he already has 3 cows!!) today so he took all the money and bought the un needed cow and in a month he will come wanting to borrow money!!!
Well I have to close, Lydia just fell down the stairs onto the cement floor!!
My hope is found in Christ not people

The machete wound sounds horrid.
I am in awe of a woman who walks 1 hour each way to work! I feel a bit ashamed, because I won't even walk to the bank which is about 3/4 of mile from my house.
I think you all must be pretty toughened by now!
Take care, and hope all goes well.
