Big Continent, Big Viruses!!

Everything is bigger in Africa, including the viruses!!! Monday I took Meg our visitor down to Mai Mahiu to see the other LL centers and as the morning went on I started to feel worse and worse by 3:00 I told Abraham and Meg it was time to go home!! By the time we made it back home I was in full swing of the attack!!! I spent the next 3 days in bed having NO desire at all to leave it!! it is now Sunday night and I am still trying to regain my energy. I told someone WWIII could have started and I wouldn't have known or frankly cared at all. My whole world consisted of me and my bed. Meanwhile Levi and Kimberly got the same bug and were also suffering but I didn't care or should say couldn't care at all!!! i am so glad that I am on the repair and back in the world of other people!! I am also thankful Meg never got sick!! This is here final week and we will go full swing again on Monday. I am looking forward to seeing my little friends again!! I know they were concerned for me and praying for me. Please keep J, B and M in your prayers, particularly Beth. she has been behaving badly in school and she has been getting alot of beatings in school because of it. I want to talk to her about the fruit of a sinful man and the fruit of a saved person. I think she has NOT accepted the Lord in her life yet, mainly because she really has never heard the story as her father kept them out of church for a few years. Pray also for their father , he has been gone alot (doing I don't know what!!) and it is hard on the kids and John in particular as he then becomes the parent to his siblings. If you could say I quick prayer right now that would be a help.Thanks for reading my blog and caring enough to remember me way over here!!!!

I don't know why, but when I was praying I just felt the enormity of what you are doing and what needs to be done and it brought me to tears.
I pray God gives you every thing you need to do this work and that He protects you from further big viruses.

We love you and care about you more than you know. It takes a special person with an enormous faith in the Lord to deal with what you are dealing with day in and day out. We thank you and pray for you. We pray that the Lord sustains you and blesses you. That you may see God's hand in all you are accomplishing for Him and that you may be blessed as you bless those around you. I pray for those you minister to. May the word of God you spread be accepted and may the fruit of the Lord be evident in all your lives. God Bless you Ellen and we are glad you are feeling better.
