ABC's

Just a quick note to say what is going on here... Today I started teaching some big boys at the school how to read. We are starting at the beginning even though they are in 6th and 7th grade. Pray for me and them as i teach them English. They are Mugai, Mwangi, Moses and Hannah Njeri. They are write letters but don't have a clue the sounds they make. Pray I will be able to handle the work load of an extra activity. I asked God to have this work because i feel i great burden for these kids. it worked good around my family scedule but I don't want to take on too much.
We have a visitor coming from the US. She is a young lady from NY. We are so excited about her visit and are looking forward to showing her our life here in Kenya. I just hope she isn't bored. Some of what we do here is far from glamorous!!!! In fact her first day here I will spending the morning with Abraham getting him set up with putting up my new curtains!!! oh well, this is real life, isn't it?!
We hope to take her to nairobi a few times and also to a game park as well as coming along side us in the work we do.
