Pray without ceasing

Posted on Friday, September 15, 2006 at 09:32 - Post Comment

just a quick entry this time..... A couple of prayer requests... Abraham went for a job interview for a guard position , pray he gets the job!!!! I gave him a mock interview the other day and I kept saying "just say this" (you all know I'm bossy through and through!). Also My friend Linda is leaving for Mozambique tomorrow. Pray for safety and re adjustment into the hostile environment there. And for me as my hubby leaves for 2 weeks. For safety and for patience as all of us know when their father isn't around it is easy to get short and snappy. Two of my blog friends- I'm praying for you both and your Friend in PA. Hello also to my "NY cousin" !!!!! and also to Laura Grace in CT !! Thanks for reading for blog!!! i'll write more of our activities next week!!

good to hear from you

We will pray he gets the job and for you and Bruce when he is away. We look forward to seeing him, wishing we could see all of you. Thanks for he encouragement in the homeschool department. I'm just so tired from being pulled in so many different directions. I need a good dose of God's power! Talk to you soon!

Hiya Ellen,

We are looking forward to seeing Bruce soon;; I am interested to hear more about Kim. Dick and I didn\'t get to church this past Sunday; well, not CFC anyway....went to visit friends at a church we used to atttend years ago. It was wonderful as we got to be there for a woman being baptised. It was a lovely day here and she was baptised out doors at a nearby neighbor\'s pond....gold fish and all.

Lovely news when we got home; Jennifer had gone to hospital and finally delivered Jesse Aaron at 8:26p.m. He weighed in at 8lbs.7 1/2 oz. In case you have no idea whom I am talking about....our Aaron and his wife, Jennifer. This makes their 3rd boy; our 14th grandchild.

Keep the blogs coming; it helps to know how to pray for all of you there.

Take good care and the Lord bless you and keep you~~Sherrill C.

Hi Ellen! It's Maria. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed reading your blog. I cannot believe you have been there a whole year already. WOW! It sounds like God is taking you on quite a journey. Even in the difficult times it sounds like you are right where you are supposed to be. You have been greatly missed. I don't spend much time on the computer but I will try to be in touch. You are in my prayers. Looking forward to your next entry.
