Bitter tears

I wanted to write about our trip tp Samburu land but right now I want to tell of the bitterness I feel in my heart. Bitterness over the loss of childhood in a young boy forced to raise his brother and sister, over the fact that there are no jobs and that young men are sitting idle, bitterness that people resort to "begging" for money from white people, and bitterness over the fact that when a look into the eyes of a new born baby I don't have a sens of hope for his future. There is a "Light " in this darkness but right now the dark is very dark in my heart. I know I will work this out but right now I wanted you to hear my hearts cry out to God......

Hi, Ellen, that's some heavy emotions you're carrying. Wish I could reach across the miles and give you a hug. The world just isn't fair - and now these people are your friends, not just some folks far away you feel bad for. I'm surprised K didn't tell about this post. I missed it! I'm praying for you. I pray that God blesses you with Hope that only He can give and with Peace that only He can provide. May He give you Love & Compassion that can translate into action that will minister to the hearts of those that He has placed in your life. I know how you feel with what your dealing with, but know God is in control and will always be with you and give you the peace you need when you see these bad things going on, Especially death.
