busy with books and babies!!!

I haven't written in awhile because we have been busy. We are having bookshelves built so I can finally unpack my books. They seem like old friends now because it has been sooo long since I've had them out of the boxes. We also are having some trees cut down in the yard to be used for cooking in the Moffat cafeteria. So there has been alot of people around lately. Plus I went to Kimende with Abraham and john , beth and Mwangi. We had a great time looking for mattresses for the kids and Abraham needed to buy cloth diapers for his new baby boy named Jamed Boguia. he is black and beautiful!!! We are going camping for a few days so I 'll be writing more later......

I admire your commitment and lack of selfishness. I must admit I don\'t think I could do it. How long are you committed to being there? I assume you and your family were not the first white missionaries there but where they slow to accept the new faces? Is it as hot as I imagine?

Also, how is it that the "villagers" get sick from the foods available yet you and your family are able to stay healthy? You mentioned having to seek medical treatment - how are the services down there?
